Induction Guidance for ECTs

The guidance linked within this section is intended to summarise the key elements of statutory induction which we hope you will find useful once you have been registered with us for statutory induction by your school.

Information relating to statutory registration requirements can be found in our registration guidance provided to schools but it’s important to note that you are not responsible for registering yourself, it’s your schools responsibility. It’s also vitally important to note, if you are not registered for statutory induction, you are not under induction and induction cannot be backdated, please liaise with your school if you believe you should be registered.
