The Hub Offer

We are delighted to offer our full package of Early Career Teacher Entitlement (ECTE) support which consists of our appropriate body (AB) service plus training as part of the ECTE (formerly ECF programme) in partnership with Teach First.

Our full package of support gives you:

  • Access to our Appropriate Body (AB) service
  • Access to the DfE fully funded Early Career Teacher Entitlement training (delivered in partnership with Teach First)
  • Access to Bright Futures highly acclaimed Early Career Teacher conferences (two over the induction period)
  • Additional subject/phase-specific support through our expert Specialist Leaders of Education (SLE) Team

Costing for this package is provided in the dropdown list below. If you are looking to only work with us for appropriate body services and you will be working with an alternative training provider or designing and delivering your own training programme, please see the relevant option in the dropdown list below. If you are only looking to work with Bright Futures for delivery of the ECTE training via Teach First and not for appropriate body services, please visit our ECTE team section of this website.

ECTs receive a programme of support and training based on the ITTECF framework and programme design covers the evidence-based statements

ECTs have received planned elements of the induction.

Checks to ensure the materials and sessions are in line with the statutory guidance for induction and meet DfE requirements.

Ensure ECTs fairly and regularly assessed through collection of Review Points and formal assessment points at the end of year 1 and 2 of induction and at interim points.

Additional observation(s)/quality assurance of school-designed programme throughout the two years (beginning-middle- end)

Schools to provide detailed breakdown of the programme for years 1 and 2 showing how the ECTE statements are sequenced for the induction period

ABs will be expected to check in a greater level of detail where schools have opted to design their own school-based programme due to the greater risk that a school-based induction could diverge from the ECTE

| Total cost – £2,055

Please note the cost for our appropriate body service is over a two-year statutory induction period (FTE for part-time ECTs) and is billed per academic year and payable by school, not ECTs. The provider-led training programme is fully funded by the DfE and therefore free of charge to eligible schools. For further details relating to DfE funding and eligibility for the training programme, please visit their website.

.NB: . Once you have decided which option above suits your school/trust, please ensure that you complete the statutory registration process. Both registration steps are a DfE requirement under the 2-year arrangements and are mandatory
