ECF Registration Information

ECF Registration Information

To register for our Early Career Framework Provision, you must register with the DfE’s Online Manage Early Career Teachers Service. There is a downloadable step by step guide at the end of this brief introduction.

Teach First as the Lead Provider and Bright Futures as the Delivery Partner must be assigned to the ECT and Mentor for us to see their record.

Schools have been asked to nominate a member of staff to hold the log in for this service who will be the only person at your school able to register ECTs.  If you have not made a nomination; the default email address will be the one used for GIAS communications from the DfE.

The DfE will pass the details of Approved Registrations to Teach First for registration with Bright Futures.  The DfE portal doesn’t request all information required for the smooth running of the ECF programme, for example the subject taught by the ECT.  Therefore, if you indicate that you are using Bright Futures as both your ECF Provider and your Appropriate Body when you register for Appropriate Body, we will share relevant information to reduce the workload in schools.

Please note: your ECT must be registered with an Appropriate Body before the DfE can finalise their eligibility checks.
