We are delighted that Bright Futures Educational Trust, based in the North West and mainly in Greater Manchester, has been selected to join a national network of 87 centres of excellence for teacher training and development through its Bright Futures Teaching School Hub Trafford & Salford and Bright Futures Teaching School Hub Manchester & Stockport.
This is a wonderful opportunity for us to build on our existing partnerships. Deep collaboration, professional generosity, integrity and passion will drive the way we work, and we will ensure children and young people are always at the heart of our decision making.
Teaching School Hubs were designated by the Department for Education (DfE), following a rigorous and robust application process, and will be funded by the DfE to support its Teacher Recruitment and Retention Strategy. A Teaching School Hub will support schools and trusts to invest in their workforce to grow, recruit, develop and retain the very best teachers, support staff and leaders – focusing mainly on the Department’s ‘golden thread’ of:
Following a ‘shadow’ phase in the summer term, we are now fully operational serving schools in Trafford & Salford and Manchester & Stockport.
